Searching for breathtaking views set amongst the greenery of the Berkeley Hills?

Look no further. 1072 Keeler is a two-bed, one-bath, treehouse-style home with views, a sleek interior, and lush yard. The garage and driveway sit at street level offering easy parking for yourself and guests. Steps lead down along a lovely terraced garden to the front entry, the home has been completed with earth-tones and feels natural in its setting. It is encompassed by magical grounds with mature trees, and abundant patio spaces that have been recently enhanced by fresh landscaping.

The openness of the main living area can be felt immediately upon entering. Designed to maximize the beautiful views of Oakland, San Francisco, and the Golden Gate Bridge, the great room features a full wall of glass windows with a door out to the balcony. The balcony has been specially designed with glass railings to avoid obstructing the fabulous San Francisco viewpoint. The kitchen overlooks the great room with a peninsula connecting the spaces and providing an ideal spot for casual meals. There is also a dining area with a modern pendant that sits just off the kitchen for larger gatherings.

The great room is flexible and can be arranged in a variety of ways. Spend your weekends sitting in the newly designed backyard with a grassy lawn, stone patio, and lots of gardening possibilities on the staired downslope.

On the right side of the home, a small hall offers built-in storage for linens and connects the two sleeping quarters. Both bedrooms are amply sized with new light fixtures, one enjoying Golden Gate views. A full bath sits between and has been updated in a contemporary style.

Set in the Berkeley hills just below Grizzly Peak Boulevard, you are moments from hiking at Tilden, recreation at Lake Anza, and exciting dining in the Gourmet Ghetto. Also enjoy the shops and eateries on Solano Ave, a bustling and convenient spot to run your weekend errands. This location also makes commuting to the University simple. Familiarize yourself with the many walking trails that weave through the Berkeley hills, with Sterling and Keeler path entrances closeby. This special home will not last long.
